Villa Laguna is only a few minutes walk from the Obidos Lagoon and a ten minute drive from the famous Praia Del Rey golf course. Peniche is a twenty minute drive away and is a great place to eat fresh fish cooked over a barbecue down by the quay side. There is a five star Marriott hotel on the Praia D'el Rey golf course along with a club house which is open to the public.
A 20 minute drive along the coast is the resort and fishing port of Baleal and Peniche, famous for its surfing and fish restaurants respectively. Obidos is a 15 minute drive away and Caldas Da Rainha is 20 minutes away. This is a great place to wander with a good
selection of shops, museums, parks, daily local markets, restaurants and bars.
