At the end of last night's Euro 2008 qualifier Filipe Scolari, the Portuguese national team manager, was seen on TV to attempt to land a punch on one of the Serbian team's players. It seems that he was not able to control himself following Portugal's abysmal performance when they failed to hang on to an early lead, their poor play allowing the Serbs to score a crucial equaliser.
It is presumed that Scolari will have to resign or be sacked but, in my opinion, it is more likely that the Portuguese Federation will trot out a load of waffle until the spotlight moves somewhere else.
It's clear to see where the youngsters get their inspiration from.

Let's hope that the Portuguese U-21 team implodes once again tonight when they play England at Agueda
