This traditional Portuguese farmhouse and is located 2km from the beautiful
beach resort of Salir do Porto with its stunning boardwalk across the
sandunes to the larger resort of Sao Martinho do Porto where there are no
shortages of bars and restaurants in which to watch the magnificent sunsets.
The villa is set around a courtyard with two separate houses, making it
ideal for two families. The main house with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms also
encompasses a spacious sitting room with stylish, contemporary furniture.
The guest cottage has a comfy sitting room with pot-bellied stove and a
fully fitted kitchen with Oven, Hob, Fridge/Freezer and Microwave oven.
There is a double bedroom and bathroom, and a further double room with
en-suite bathroom.
Outside, in the private courtyard, there is a beautiful pool and sun
terrace with dining for 8 people, a built-in BBQ. There are also shady
areas for those who wish to shelter from the sun.
Location
The villa is situated approximately 1 mile from the centre of São Martinho
do Porto, a small beach resort with a perfect shell shaped bay. The calm
waters of the Bay are perfect for sailing, windsurfing and swimming whilst
the more lively Atlantic Ocean at Foz do Arelho provides a surfers paradise.
In the resort there are a number of restaurants and bars with superb views
across the bay.
A 10 minute drive inland is Caldas da Rainha. This is a great place to
wander with a good selection of shops, museums, parks, daily local markets,
restaurants and bars. A further 10 minutes away is the historical gem,
Obidos.
Lisbon is 1 hours drive and the number 1 golf course in Portugal, Praia D’El Rey, is a 30 minute drive.
