PRESCOTT SPITS OUT TOOTH IN PORTO

Just as criticism by centre-right political leaders of an international Socialist gathering in Oporto was reaching fever-pitch, Britain’s Deputy Prime Minister somehow managed to spit out a tooth during a crucial address to an audience that included the world’s top centre and centre-left politicians, a UK newspaper reported.
As American Democrats and European Socialists struggled to keep their laughs down, John Prescott rambled on with his speech on climate change despite being having one fewer tooth.
According to The Sun, Prescott, moaned “My tooth!” after he had been forced to cut down his planned ten-minute speech.
As opposed to cutting down his speech, Prescott decided to ramble through his comments in double quick time, opting not to shorten his address on climate change.
Translators were found wanting as they failed to keep up with Prescott’s pace, though he still managed to receive a hearty applause upon completion of his speech.
According to the newspaper, the incident was due to John Prescott having had trouble after some recent bridgework.
