Nine-man Portugal clinched a quarter-final date with England on Saturday after a stormy clash with Holland last night when four players were sent off.

Manager Luiz Felipe Scolari will now be without at least two key men as he attempts to mastermind a third triumph over Sven Goran Eriksson's men following the dismissals of Francisco Costinha and Deco.

There are doubts, too, over Cristiano Ronaldo who was forced out of last night's bruising clash through injury while Luis Figo could also miss the match if FIFA decide to take further disciplinary action over a butting incident with Mark van Bommel.
